The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the release of their club’s new goalkeeper kit for the 2018/19 season. Empire of the Kop tweeted pictures of the new kit a couple of hours early, leading to many fans sharing their opinions on the latest strip that is soon to be donned by Loris Karius. Although for the majority of the Reds, this season’s kit isn’t going to be topped.

The Reds propping our bar up have very much enjoyed this season. The two kits they’ve used have been classy and haven’t caused any debate among the fans who, for the most part, have been happy to spend their money on the replicas. Obviously, it helps when you’ve got a Champions League semi-final in your bright orange kit to look forward to, but on the whole, the red half of Merseyside has been happy.
The news kits, though, have caused more debate. The fans have been questioning the need to change and now that the club’s plain yellow goalkeeping kit has been released, it’s made the fans realise how good their current strips really are. On the pitch, the colour of the kit rarely matters as the football takes over, however, that won’t stop the hype around this time of the year as fans wait for their club’s latest gear to be released.
You can read our local Kopites’ verdict on their new kit here:
Don't see the problem here. Home kit looks great and the keeper kit is plain yellow. Seen much worse! As for the away/3rd kits, they're cool in my opinion. Away kits should always be bright and kinda awful, as long as the home kit is smart, I don't mind!

Doesn't matter what they look like, it's the badge on the front and the name on the back that matter.

It's not good. Even the home Jersey.

Think they’re both ok actually. Probably only kids that buy the keeper top anyway.
