Swansea City have had a seriously tough start to the campaign and their supporters here in the Tavern are struggling to get their heads around things right now!
Despite plenty of investment this summer in the likes of Borja Baston and Fernando Llorente, efforts have been fruitless as the Swans have plummeted towards the bottom of the Premier League.
Bob Bradley has been employed to try and steady the ship but even he’s struggling to churn out results.
A game against fellow strugglers Stoke City was an excellent chance to get three points in the bag but yet again, it was another defeat in an unconvincing performance.
And with things going so badly, we think Bradley will need to make some key decisions in the near future in regards to keeping and letting go of certain individuals.
So armed with a list from our Swans-obsessed landlord, here’s THREE players Bradley should be looking to axe in the very near future…
Federico Fernández
Argentinian defender Federico Fernández has been seriously out-of-sorts for the Swans this season.
It says a lot when 22-year-old youngster Alfie Mawson is being preferred in the first-team to a man who has featured for the likes of Napoli and Getafe in the past.
With Mike van der Hoorn doing well and Mawson showing signs of potential, Fernandez could be axed sooner rather than later.
Neil Taylor
A long-serving member in this Swansea City side, Neil Taylor has been struggling to match some of his performances from seasons past.
Alongside much of the rest of the squad, he’s lacking some serious confidence and looks a frustrated unit on the left-hand side.
His experience in the Swansea shirt will count for nothing when Bradley finally gets the chance to overhaul the squad himself and that could very much end Taylor’s career at the Liberty.
Ki Sung-yueng
Ki Sung-yeung was once a tireless and energetic worker in this Swansea City midfield.
But against United, he looked a shadow of his former self- a player really lacking in confidence.
It all points to the same situation Swansea have faced all season, the lack of an identity.
And with Sung-yeung continuing to struggle, he could be one that may be axed come January.
