The Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern want lots of deals this month as they look to continue their revival.
At the start of this season our resident United fans were hoping that they would win the league under Jose Mourinho but poor form has left them chasing the rest of the title challengers as we plunge into the second half of the year.
They’re looking like they’ve got a good system now, though, with Jose Mourinho evidently knowing the players he wants to use in his line-ups.
That, of course, means that he also knows who he doesn’t want to use and some players have definitely found themselves out of his plans.
Our landlord can think of a cluster of players that fall into this bracket and with the transfer window open, now is the best time to get rid of some of the deadwood.
That in mind, then, our landlord reckons these two need to go as soon as possible.
Morgan Schneiderlin

Schneiderlin is a class act when he’s playing but he’s not been given the smallest chance to impress this season.
Signed by Louis Van Gaal, many felt that he’d be a top drawer player in United’s midfield but he’s found it hard to settle in and is now well down the pecking order. He’s still got ability, though, and would surely be a good asset for some teams – meaning he’ll also give United a welcome financial boost.
Memphis Depay

Depay will be a class act one day – just not with United.
He seems like one of those players that just doesn’t have it going for him at Old Trafford and desperately needs a move to save his career. He’s still only young, though, and so the right move would surely see him start to reach the heights predicted of him. As with Schneiderlin, he too would boast quite the fee for United to rake in.
