It’s time for Pep Guardiola to loan out these 2 Man City players in January

Manchester City currently sit in third place in the Barclays Premier League as Pep Guardiola’s team look to get into their stride ahead of the second half of the 2016/17 campaign.

The ex-Barcelona manager has overseen some solid results since his arrival and his new charges are just a point behind league leaders Chelsea at the moment.

The Manchester City supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern are immensely proud of how the club has started to perform under the leadership of Guardiola, with many of them eagerly anticipating what the future might hold with him at the helm.

The January transfer window should see a new addition or two arrive at the Etihad Stadium but not only that, but it could also allow the club to let one or two members of the squad leave on loan.

Tavern writer Lee Clarke took a break from his pint of the landlord’s best bitter to look at two players who might be loaned out by the club in January.

Leroy Sane

The German winger has not taken to the Premier League quite how Pep would have liked and a loan move elsewhere might be in the boss’ thoughts ahead of the transfer window.

Sane is clearly rated highly by the manager as the club chose to pay a staggering £42 million for him during the summer, but at 20-years-old he just simply doesn’t look up to the demands of the English top flight just yet.

One City fan is sat chilling in Tavern and the says that Sane clearly possesses quality, but concedes that he just needs a run of games in a side and that might need to be out on loan for the remainder of the season.

Angus Gunn

Angus Gunndddd

The young goalkeeper is set for a bright future in football and he has been performing extremely well for the England under-21s, where he has collected five caps.

The 20-year-old might look to get some regular game time out on loan however, with City already possessing two solid goalkeepers in Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero.

One City fan is chatting to his pals about the standard of young talent coming through at City and he thinks Gunn is a future number one for the Citizens, although he does think that a loan spell at this stage in his career would be handy.

Manchester City fans, would you be happy to see this pair go out on loan in January? Who else should follow them? Let us know in the comments below!!!
