Liverpool: Fans question John Achterberg’s comments about Caoimhin Kelleher

Plenty of Liverpool fans have been reacting to an exclusive interview that goalkeeping coach John Achterberg did with the Sunday World about youngster Caoimhin Kelleher.

After the final whistle, the Spaniard was lambasted by the Kop faithful and the break in Premier League proceedings could not have come at a worse time for manager Jurgen Klopp.

With the Merseyside Derby just around the corner at Goodison Park, questions remain as to who will start in between the sticks across Stanley Park following Adrian’s horror show.

Achterberg may have provided a clue, telling Sunday World that the feeling inside the club is Kelleher is “one of our three” good goalkeepers, adding that he would have “no issue” putting him in a game and he could make his debut earlier than anticipated.
