Jose Mourinho will no doubt be looking forward to a summer of transfer dealings as he looks to reshape and improve his squad further.
Man United have had a decent first season under their new manager, winning some silverware and putting themselves firmly in contention for a top four place.
Our United fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been pretty happy on the whole, and the majority of the squad this season has delivered quality performances on the whole this term.
However, our landlord has been chatting at the bar to a few Red Devils, and they think that Mourinho will definitely be looking to dispense with a few players this summer.
With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO players Man United may get rid of this summer…
Luke Shaw

Young England defender Shaw has been left out by Mourinho in the main, with issues over his fitness and other aspects of his game influencing Mourinho’s selection policy.
Shaw himself might benefit from being allowed to move on, and the former Southampton man would no doubt have plenty of options should United allow him to move on.
Wayne Rooney

It has been a will he, won’t he situation all season, but this summer could see the end for Rooney.
The record scorer for both United and England arguably deserves his chance to stay with the club beyond this season, but with the player harbouring hopes of getting back into the England fold for next years World Cup, Rooney might well accept a move away should Mourinho decide that is what’s best.
