Arsene Wenger has been a man well and truly in the spotlight this season, and there remains hefty speculation surrounding his future.

The Gunners boss has found himself let down by certain players this season, and this has led to an unhealthy relationship building between players, manager, and supporters.

Plenty of Arsenal fans here in the Tavern have been calling for Wenger to finally step down at the Emirates, but it might not be Wenger who needs to go.

The England forward is forever the type of player who we seem to wait and wait for to get better, but he encounters the same issues season upon season.

Walcott’s time could be up at Arsenal, and if I was Arsene Wenger, he would be the sort of player I would be looking to axe this summer and bring in a higher quality replacement.

Lucas Perez

Summer signing Perez has failed to contribute anything of significance so far in his time with the Gunners, and Wenger will no doubt be looking to get rid.

A move back to Spain looks likely to be on the cards for Perez, and Wenger would be wise to ship him out and try and recoup some of the money he spent on him in the summer.
