Man Utd fans want the club to sign Mario Mandzukic this summer

An offensive signing or two is on the minds of many Man Utd fans, it seems. The Red Devils have an incredible array of attacking talent at the club at present, but it’s fair to say that Jose Mourinho was lacking something last season. Though Romelu Lukaku is a brilliant forward, the Belgian can’t do it all alone, and so signing a replacement makes sense.

Realistically, a top team needs at least two top-tier forwards, ideally three, and the Red Devils simply don’t have that. Following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, they’ve got very little choice beyond Lukaku.

However, a selection of Man Utd fans have taken to Twitter over the last day or so to identify a player that they think would be perfect for the club

It seems that a lot of Man Utd fans were watching England take on Croatia on Wednesday evening, as Croatia forward Mario Mandzukic has caught the eye of fans online.

They were impressed by his match-winning performance, and it’s fair to say that they think he would be the perfect back-up for Romelu Lukaku.
