Juventus gave a great performance tonight in their 2-0 win over Milan. Many were expecting to see what their potential was in this big match against last season’s champions, and they delivered.
Coach Antonio Conte gave an interview to Sky in which he praised his lads’ performance.
“We were aggressive and well-organised, we played as a team and that was the most important thing of the night,” he said. “We were playing against a Milan side which can strike at any moment, we could also have scored before…
“We are still studying to be a great team, we are putting in a lot of sacrifices and desire. We have to continue like this, always play as a team, because all that this Juve team can promise is maximum effort, which isn’t lacking even from those who go on the bench or on the stands. We have good players, now they have to become champions.”
On the disappointing performance of midfielder Milos Krasic, the coach said: “Perhaps now we are asking things of him which he didn’t have to do in the past, but I still think he did well. He’s strong, he has potential and can improve.”
