With Ronald Koeman now at the helm and a vast amount of funds in the bank, the Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are dreaming with wide eyed wonderment about the new Premier League season.
After such a miserable time of things last term under Roberto Martinez, the Toffees will be expecting a major overhaul considering the amount of money now backing the club.
Well, according to Portuguese outlet Record, Koeman is due to kick things off with a €20m bid for midfield lynchpin William Carvalho.
The 24-year old has previously been linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal and is understood to have a €45m release clause on his deal with Sporting Lisbon.
Though the club now have lavish funds, those on Merseyside are thought to be only willing to go as high as €20m to bring him to Goodison Park.
The report claims a bid within the coming weeks is to be expected as Koeman plots his Merseyside revolution.
