Portsmouth: Many fans were unbothered by what Kenny Jackett had to say

Kenny Jackett has been speaking to Portsmouth’s official channels ahead of the club’s League One clash against Oxford United.
The Pompey manager opened up on his desire for his team to start winning regularly, while claiming that his team has the character to see an upturn in results:
“We have good characters that want to do well for themselves, for each other and then ultimately for the Club.”

He may have recently received the backing of Michael Eisner, but by the evidence of the replies to the club’s tweet, Jackett has a long way to go until he is able to get the fans on his side.
This is because there were many fans who seemed uninterested in what Jackett had to say, whether that is due to the fact they have heard the same line numerous times or their lack of faith in him to deliver.
The only talking that will matter to many of those Pompey supporters has to be done on the pitch, as they need to start climbing the table from their current position of 16th.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the video, including posts from unimpressed Portsmouth fans, can be seen below:
“I’ve asked our 6 man defence to pass the ball amongst themselves, so we can hang on for a draw.”
