‘Leeds fans are embarrassing’ - Middlesbrough, Whites fans react to key man’s update

There’s been a new rivalry emerge in the Transfer Tavern this summer and it’s come out of Garry Monk’s move to Middlesbrough.

Indeed, after he left Leeds United earlier on in the off-season many Whites fans really did change their opinion of him and so wherever he ended up there was bound to be plenty getting said.

Middlesbrough, then, was where he ended up and thus both sets of fans have engaged with one another over the story both here by the bar and on Twitter.

Certainly, what’s helped fuel the flames of this burgeoning rivalry is that Monk himself has a Twitter account and after his latest tweet about training with his new side, there was a lot of reaction from both sets of fans.
