Leeds United: Fans discuss injury updates on Douglas, Alioski and Shackleton

George Dagless 7 November 2019, 18:30 2 minutes read
Will any of these players be pulling on Leeds' famous white jersey this season?

Leeds United take on Blackburn Rovers this weekend at Elland Road in the Sky Bet Championship as they look to keep their promotion challenge on track.

The Whites have had a good season so far again this year, and certainly look capable of getting themselves into the Premier League at long last at the end of the campaign.

For sure, it’s an exciting time to be a Leeds fan right now, but it is also evident that they have got a few injury problems to deal with as well.

They’ve not got the deepest squad, either, and so fans will hope that things don’t get much worse before they get better right now.

Indeed, with that in mind, an injury update has been delivered concerning a handful of players, and it is pretty mixed:

💬 "Douglas will be available, but Alioski won't. Jamie Shackleton has a muscular problem, but a different injury to before. He's not going to be available this weekend." pic.twitter.com/zQv8ETd4IL

Let’s take a look at some of the reaction to this news:

How injured can Alioski be jumping around on the sofas at TA this week?

Interesting team selection ahead. If he brings in Douglas who does he drop from the winning team ?

Douglas is done

A bit of an issue for the Whites, and they’ll be hoping to get on top of it sooner rather than later.
