Leeds United fans have been left raging at their Championship promotion rivals Norwich City after the Canaries have become the first club to publicly state that they’re part of a collective complaint to the EFL over Leeds’ spygate. The Carrow Road faithful sit just one point behind Leeds in 2nd, and would definitely favour a points deduction for Leeds.

This story has been brought to the Whites attention by Phil Hay of The Yorkshire Evening Post, and his tweet has caused quite a stir as the Leeds fans gather to collectively fume at Norwich City for the level of pettiness on show by joining this complaint. As far as the Leeds fans are concerned, it just gives them more motivation for when they host the Canaries at Elland Road in less than two week’s time.
What has really frustrated the Whites, though, is that it was common knowledge earlier in the season that the away changing rooms at Carrow Road were painted pink after a study found that it gave them a psychological advantage. Whilst it may be a very different incident to spygate, it was done in an attempt to give them an unfair advantage, and in sense, should be punished the same way. However, that’s not what’s happening and this debacle will just make the crunch match between the top two even tastier.

The Whites are fuming at Norwich’s involvement in this complaint and will take even more pleasure out of their clash with the Canaries in early February after hearing this news.
