Whilst getting three points is all that matters to the supports normally, plenty of them couldn’t get over how poor Ezgjan Alioski was yesterday in the club’s 1-0 win over Hull City at the KCOM Stadium. The Macedonian winger didn’t have his finest game and the supporters picked up on that, slating the 26-year-old for what was a poor performance.
The fans pulled no punches in their assessments of the winger and whilst some of it is justified, some of it was a tad too far. Some of the Whites claimed he needed to be benched whilst others called him a circus act and if Alioski was to read some of the supporters comments it would be a real confidence destroyer for the man who’s bagged himself a tidy return of three goals and two assists in 11 Championship matches so far this season.
The Macedonian’s tally of three goals is only bettered by Kemar Roofe’s four strikes for Leeds in the Championship this season and considering his contribution to goals this season you can see why most fans might be curious as to why he’s been taking so much flak from other fans. For most, it’s just the shocking lack of consistency that has been bothering them and it’s hard to argue with that, as the 26-year-old has failed to keep his levels up across all of the club’s eleven games this season.

Well Alioski needs to be put on the bench…. So jack clarke should start #MOT

Pretty clear that Pablo's a bigger miss than Roofe, in spite of our lack of goals. Roberts is doing a fairly good job all-round. The drop-off in quality out-wide when Pablo isn't playing is huge, especially with Alioski who seems to be missing more easy chances than anyone. #LUFC

Alioski couldn’t find a cross at Westminster Abbey#lufc

I’m convinced an out of position Forshaw would be better than Alioski in his current form #lufc

Surely it’s time too give Clarke a chance and get Alioski off that pitch! He works hard but that’s about all he offers #LUFC

Can we agree Harrison is a circus act along with Alioski. Show ponies both of them. #lufc

The fans are far from happy with Alioski despite his three goals this season and he’ll be keen to prove them all wrong as soon as possible.
