Leeds United: Fans laud Andrea Radrizzani and club for response to coronavirus

Many Leeds United fans have heaped praise on owner Andrea Radrizzani and the club in general over the handling of matters during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Yorkshire club sit top of the Championship table as things stand and are on verge of a promotion to the Premier League. Solid and consistent form this season has seen the Whites bounce back after losing in the play-off semi-finals to Derby County last term.

With the COVID-19 pandemic causing a halt to the 2019/20 season, Leeds fans, staff and players have been left waiting in their hopes of a return to the top flight. Talk of a potential return to training has since sparked into conversation across various media outlets over the last few days and Leeds have put measures in place at the club’s training ground to maximise the health and safety of everyone involved.

Those actions have now been praised on Twitter, with Radrizzani mentioned as the key man behind the recent developments.

Reacting to a tweet from a Leeds fan on the club’s handling of matters, these fans praised Radrizzani:

The club have bought a separate Covid-19 testing machine that will be used to test players’ families whilst the players are in the EFL testing programme.
