Many Leeds United fans have reacted to the club’s online footage of their promotion back to the First Division in 1990.
Marcelo Bielsa’s current Leeds side are on the verge of a historic return to England’s top flight after narrowly missing out last season in the Championship play-offs, sitting top of the table ahead of West Brom.

Sitting in an automatic promotion place has left many Whites fans nervous about the return of football after the league was suspended amid the coronavirus pandemic, but some fans have been enjoying a social media throwback to a previous successful season.
Leeds’ official Twitter account shared footage of Lee Chapman’s goal that sealed promotion back to the then First Division at the end of the 1989/90 season on the 30th anniversary of the achievement.
