The Latest: Three assists
One Spanish outlet focused on Vazquez’s display in the 8-0 win against Leeds’ youngsters in a quietly arranged friendly, stating that he registered three assists in nine minutes against Leeds.
They added that the youngster needs minutes and Valencia will need to make a decision on his future in the winter window.
The Verdict: Orta impressed?
You’d expect that sporting director Victor Orta would have watched the friendly, and he may have been impressed with Vazquez.
Should he become available for transfer, a move to Yorkshire could make sense, whether that be on loan with a potential option to buy.

He’d be able to rival Pascal Struijk and Junior Firpo in the first team while also possibly getting regular minutes in a competitive under-21 side.
That could appeal to Leeds, but whether or not that appeals to Valencia and Vazquez is another question.
