Leeds United’s recruitment this summer has been focused on giving Daniel Farke’s squad more depth after spending much of last season looking nervously over their shoulder at the relegation places.
The Whites have added quality in several areas, bringing in Harry Wilson from Fulham and defenders Tarik Muharemović and Nico Elvedi.
The headline arrival, however, has been goalkeeper James Trafford from Manchester City.
With the squad still being strengthened, Leeds are now keeping tabs on another young player who could provide an extra attacking option.
Leeds Monitoring Osorio
Leeds United are monitoring FC Midtjylland winger Dario Osorio, with the Chile international attracting attention from a number of Premier League clubs as the transfer window approaches its conclusion.
The 22-year-old has emerged as an increasingly sought-after attacking talent, with Leeds among those understood to be keeping a close eye on his situation, according to TEAMtalk.
Liverpool and Everton are also believed to have registered an interest, while AC Milan are reportedly continuing to follow the winger’s progress.
Osorio moved to Denmark from Universidad de Chile in 2023 and has since established himself as an important player for Midtjylland. He has contributed 23 goals and 18 assists in 117 appearances, while also collecting 25 caps for Chile.
Naturally left-footed, Osorio can operate from either wing and is known for his pace and willingness to take defenders on. His performances have even prompted comparisons with compatriot Alexis Sanchez.
Midtjylland are understood to value the youngster at around €20m (£17.1m) and would consider selling if their valuation is met.
His qualities have certainly not gone unnoticed by those around him, with Midtjylland teammate Jonas Lossl previously describing Osorio as a “delicious” player.
