Leeds United: Fans debate whether they would take Kemar Roofe back

Many Leeds United fans have debated whether or not they would like to see former striker Kemar Roofe back the club.

27-year-old Roofe began his playing career with West Bromwich Albion after developing with the Hawthorns outfit’s various youth sides.

Having five different loan spells away from the Midlands, the Walsall born goalscorer would then sign for Oxford United on a permanent deal before impressing enough to warrant interest from officials at Elland Road.

In July 2016, Roofe would then sign on the dotted line for Leeds, and he would immediately make an impact in the first team, netting a total of 33 goals in 122 games during three years with the club.

Leaving Yorkshire last summer to join former Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany at Belgian side Anderlecht, Roofe has since scored seven goals in 16 games for the Purple and White.

Debating whether or not they would like to see him return to the club, Leeds fans gave a mixed response in general.
