Leeds United: Fans tear into Mateusz Klich

Many Leeds United fans tore into Mateusz Klich on Twitter following their disappointing defeat to Queens Park Rangers in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Marcelo Bielsa witnessed his players fall to another defeat when Nahki Wells controversially put the ball into the net in the first-half, however the Argentine manager’s side did have their own chance to level the tie in the second 45 minutes.

Patrick Bamford, unfortunately, wasted that chance though from 12 yards out as he saw his penalty kick saved by Liam Kelly as the Whites were unable to take advantage of playing ahead of West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

Indeed, fans would have been furious to have suffered another defeat, especially after last weekend’s loss to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday but it appears Klich’s most recent performance may have infuriated them a little more than the result.

A number of fans took to Twitter to slam the Poland international for his lack of contribution in the game, with some stating that he offers them nothing and that he can go missing in matches all of a sudden. Although WhoScored’s data show that he had made two key passes, completed one dribble and made two tackles, it would seem that was not enough to shade the 29-year-old from the vast amount of criticism handed his way.

Here are just some of the reactions he received…
