Only Nicolas Pepe scored more goals in the final four Premier League games than Leeds' Rodrigo, but Dean Windass believes that he could be moved on this summer.

Pepe scored one more than the Spaniard's four, whose quartet of strikes came in just 166 minutes of action.

However, Rodrigo had struggled up until he came off the bench and netted a quickfire brace at Burnley earlier this month, netting just three times in 22 Premier League appearances before his end of season goal rush.

Much was expected of the Spanish international when he made the £26m switch from Valencia last summer, but Patrick Bamford's scintillating form saw his opportunities limited, although a groin injury sustained in February didn't help his case to impress Marcelo Bielsa.

And whilst the Leeds manager would have no doubt been impressed by his outstanding end to the campaign, Windass believe that Rodrigo's four goals and one assist, which saw him nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award, may have been too little, too late.

He exclusively told The Transfer Tavern:

"I just think that he's an unbelievable talent, but I think Bielsa will be looking to get better players, to get to that top four.

"He’s a great talent, but sometimes you've got to be consistent at that level."
