Leeds United have been boosted by the news that Adam Lallana could miss Brighton's clash with the Whites this weekend through injury.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have enjoyed an impressive run of form recently, in what has been an incredibly challenge list of fixtures.

Leeds have taken five points from consecutive matches against Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United, highlighting what an excellent season they are enjoying back in the Premier League.

The Whites are back in action on Saturday afternoon, making the trip to the Amex Stadium to face a Brighton side not yet safe from relegation.

Lallana struggling to be fit for Brighton-Leeds clash

The Seagulls could be without key player Lallana, however, with manager Graham Potter admitting Lallana is doubtful during his press conference on Thursday.

The 32-year-old is struggling with a calf issue, meaning the game could come too soon for him.

Transfer Transfer take

Lallana being out would be an undoubted boost for Leeds, considering the quality the Englishman possesses on the ball.

Granted, he may not be at his peak anymore, but he has still enjoyed an 83.9 percent pass completion rate this season, making 0.9 key passes per game - not a bad figure, considering he is playing for a struggling side.

Brighton will be weaker if Lallana doesn't play, which can only be a good thing from a Leeds perspective.
