A Georgian journalist has raved about reported Leeds United target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, suggesting he would be an excellent signing for the Whites.

Marcelo Bielsa may be eyeing up attacking reinforcements this summer, ensuring he keeps competition for places healthy and also adds quality in those areas.

One player who has been linked with a move to Elland Road is Kvaratskhelia, who is currently plying his trade at Rubin Kazan, registering four goals and assists apiece in the Russia Premier League this season.

The 20-year-old is considered a special talent in his homeland, with some calling him the "Georgian Messi" and "Rubin's dazzling tiny dancer" due mainly to his eye-catching dribbling ability - he averages 3.8 take-ons per game for club and country this season.

Journalist hails Leeds target Kvaratskhelia

Someone who rates Kvaratskhelia highly is POSTV journalist Lasha Kokiashvili, who took to Twitter to rave about the youngster:

"I know not many of you have heard about this boy. I know a lot of you laugh at his name and surname, but you can not even imagine what talent he is talking about."

Transfer Tavern take

Kvaratskhelia looks a player of huge potential, already scoring three goals in just eight caps for Georgia, and proving to be a key man for Kazan.

Granted, he may take time to adjust to the English game at such a young age, but playing for Bielsa would mean he could hone his talent under an elite manager.

There may be more ready-made replacements out there who can be immediate starters for Leeds next season, but Kvaratskhelia could arguably be the most exciting option out there given the glimpses of his potential we have seen so far.
