Leeds eye up Maitland-Niles move

According to The Mirror's John Cross, Leeds have been 'watching developments' with regards to the 23-year-old's future.

Transfer Tavern take

Maitland-Niles is a footballer with undoubted pedigree, as highlighted by his England caps and 121 appearances for the Gunners, making him a potential shrewd addition for Leeds.

His versatility could also appeal to Bielsa, as is the case with someone like Stuart Dallas, with the youngster capable of thriving in midfield or in either full-back position.

At 23, he should also improve as the years pass, acting as a further positive for Leeds snapping him up if they can see off the competition for his signature.
