Nobody in world football brings as much respect out of everyone in the Tavern that Arsene Wenger.
Whether you are an Arsenal fan or not, it is impossible not to respect everything that the Frenchman has done for the London giants.
Although it is hard to believe for some of the more experienced Arsenal fans in the Tavern this evening – today marks the 20th anniversary of Wenger’s arrival at the club.
Whilst a minority of fans have been on the Frenchman’s back in recent years following a disappointing spell at the helm – there is certainly no bad blood amongst the Arsenal faithful.

Regardless of the nature of the Arsenal supporters now – Arsene Wenger came to the Gunners 20 years ago and he has reshaped the club from top to bottom.
The club have undergone their most successful period under his managership – and our landlord is sure it will only be a matter of time before he takes them back to the top.
