The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the striker for months, and with Wayne Rooney struggling to find the net – the Man Utd fans in the pub were touting Griezmann as the perfect replacement.
However, those hopes have been given a shattering blow, with the Frenchman revealing that he has no interest in swapping Spain for anywhere else.
Speaking to L’Equipe as part of a Q&A, he said: “No. I do not want to leave Atlético for Paris, China, USA, Russia or elsewhere”.
Indeed, this is about as clear cut as it gets for Man Utd – it seems as though Griezmann is happy in Spain.
This will certainly come as another blow for Jose Mourinho, with AS previously reporting that the Frenchman wasn’t in a rush to leave Atletico Madrid.
