The resident Everton supporters here in the Transfer Tavern have been in good voice this season and under the stewardship of Ronald Koeman they are hopeful that the Toffees can return to European football.
It has been a decent season during the Dutchman’s maiden campaign and a couple of regulars here in the Tavern are now hopeful that the Blues can finish the job and return to the Europa League for next season.
Despite losing twice to fierce rivals Liverpool, this season has seen the Toffees regain some confidence that they are a club on the up, after years of disappointment and dismay.
A couple of our friendlier Everton supporters are having a game of pool in the Tavern and they are chatting about which members of the squad should be seen as part of Koeman’s plans for next season.
Our landlord was listening to the conversation and he looks at three players who should be offloaded in the summer to make way for new recruits.
Joel Robles

The Spanish custodian was one of Roberto Martinez’s signings and although he is currently the club’s number one stopper, you would have to say that Everton will surely look to sign another keeper ahead of next season.
One Everton supporter is munching on a bacon butty whilst slurping a mug of tea and he thinks that Robles is never too far away from a calamitous error, stating that the club should go and sign Stoke keeper Jack Butland in the summer.
Enner Valencia

The summer recruit from West Ham United has struggled for first-team chances this season and his stay with the club could prove short lived, if they choose to offload him during pre-season.
One Toffees supporter is chilling out with an early morning pint of lager and he thinks that Valencia is a useful impact substitute, but at the same time he wouldn’t lose too much sleep were he to depart in the summer.
Arouna Kone

Another of former boss Roberto Martinez’s flops could be shipped away from the club in the summer in the form of Ivorian striker Kone.
The 33-year-old is coming towards the end of his career and is nowhere near the first-team picture right now, with a summer switch looking nailed on.
One Everton fan is sat with his wife enjoying one of the landlord’s breakfast butties and he thinks that Kone will go down as one of the club’s worst signings ever!
