It’s been a frustrating old season for Arsenal this time around, and they look like missing out on the Champions League for the first time in nearly two decades.
Arsene Wenger has come under serious pressure of late, and the Gunners fans here in the Tavern have mixed feelings over their French gaffer and whether he should be kept on for next season.
One thing the Gunners fans are concerned with is the club’s transfer policy, and who they might look to bring in over the summer. However, with bringing in new players, there also comes a time when Wenger will have to make a decision on some players in his squad and look to move them on.
Our landlord has been having a good chat with the Arsenal fans about which players should be moved on, so with this in mind, here are THREE Arsenal players Arsene Wenger should be looking to get rid of this summer…
Francis Coquelin

The defensive midfielder is simply never going to be good enough to command a regular place in the line-up at the Emirates, and his time might finally be up this summer.
Coquelin offers little in terms of attacking, and is simply selected by Wenger as a destroyer. However, more is needed for the Gunners if they are to challenge, and Arsenal might be best served to get rid of Coquelin soon.
Lucas Perez

Spanish forward Perez has simply not settled in London and looks a baffling signing by Wenger last summer.
Perez just doesn’t seem to have the quality to compete in the Premier League and be a regular, and his time could be up at Arsenal after only 12 months with the club. A move back to Spain looks the most likely outcome for Perez now.
Mathieu Debuchy

A forgotten man at Arsenal, the French right back Debuchy is already out on loan back in his homeland, and a move back their permanently could be on the cards.
The right back has lost ground at the Gunners due to injury and other players doing better when selected, and a move might well be the best situation all around for the player and the club.
