Liverpool and Chelsea are among the clubs keeping tabs on young Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi. The 19-year-old has impressed during his debut Premier League campaign after signing for the Cherries from Lorient last year.
Kroupi has scored eight goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season, many coming from the substitutes bench behind first choice striker Evanilson and former talisman Antoine Semenyo. With the latter now departed, Kroupi has taken over much of the goalscoring mantel.
Kroupi has started all four matches for Bournemouth since Semenyo’s departure, scoring once and assisting once. The Sun has reported that the young forward’s performances have not gone unnoticed, with Liverpool and Chelsea having regularly sent scouts to watch the player.
Real Madrid and PSG are also believed to be tracking the Frenchman as Bournemouth brace for what could be a club record sale.
Reds, Blues, keen on Kroupi

Bournemouth sold Antione Semenyo to Manchester City for £64m, but Kroupi’s age and profile could see his figure exceed that amount. Figures close to £80m have been bandied about by some reports.
This isn’t the first time Kroupi has received such attention, as Bournemouth had to beat fierce competition from Real Madrid, West Ham, Tottenham, and RB Leipzig to sign the player from Lorient in February of 2025. He spent the remainder of last season on loan with his former club, finishing the season with 22 goals to help Lorient win the Ligue 2 title and earn promotion to Ligue 1.
He then officially joined Bournemouth last summer ahead of this season. One year on and the player’s profile has grown significantly.
Kroupi has also impressed on the international stage, netting three goals in five appearances for the France under-19 setup. Bournemouth have already begun discussions with the player over a bumper new deal in an effort to tie him down and protect his value.
It is reportedly similar to the deal struck with Antoine Semenyo before his move to Manchester City, and Bournemouth are now bracing for bids for their youngster next summer.
