Liverpool fans have been reacting to comments made by John Arne Riise about Rafa Benitez after the Spaniard made an appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
The Norwegian defender played a key part in the Spanish manager’s side after they came from 3-0 down to beat AC Milan on penalties and win the club’s fifth Champions League trophy in what was an unforgettable night.

Riise played all of normal time plus extra time but missed a penalty in the shootout which was saved by Milan keeper Dida.

After being brought in for £4m from Monaco in 2001, the Norwegian finished his Anfield career after scoring 31 goals and providing 13 assists in 348 appearances for the Reds.
