Liverpool fans are concerned after update on James Milner following Man City clash

Liverpool fans were likely content with their side’s display against Man City on Sunday. Though they will have undoubtedly wanted a win, a draw against the reigning champions is never a bad result.

It wasn’t Liverpool’s best performance of the season by any means, and it’s clear that Jurgen Klopp still has a lot of work to do if he wants to win the Premier League title this season.

Despite the result being an okay one for Liverpool, the game was not without negative consequences. Indeed, Liverpool cornerstone James Milner, who has had a brilliant season so far, was forced off injured during the fixture. The severity of the situation at the time was unclear, and unfortunately the latest update on the matter has done little to calm the fears of fans.

As per a post on the official Liverpool website, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that it’s a hamstring problem, but he doesn’t know the severity of the issue.

Naturally, given the importance of Milner, this has left fans feeling concerned, and it’s fair to say that many Liverpool supporters online are desperate for Milner to return quickly.
