Liverpool fans are delighted with Klopp’s good news about Roberto Firmino

Liverpool’s squad is filled with talent, but it’s fair to say that Jurgen Klopp’s attack is his most prized asset. No matter the failings of the Liverpool defence or midfield, the attack has, over the last few years, been able to get them out of trouble on more than one occasion.

Whether it’s Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino, the Reds have been able to find the net regularly owing to their lethality in front of goal.

Firmino, in particular, over the last few months has risen to real prominence. Though not the deadliest forward in England, he’s certainly one of the best, with his quality on the ball and his passing range giving Liverpool the perfect link-up player.

It was a worry, then, when he suffered an eye injury against Spurs – an injury that may have had an impact on him not starting against PSG earlier this week.

Fortunately, though, with Liverpool set to take on Southampton this weekend, Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Firmino is back to 100% fitness for the fixture.

This is great news for Liverpool, as there is no denying just how important Firmino is for this team. Liverpool fans seem to recognise his importance, too, given their reactions to the news online. It’s fair to say that they were very happy with what Klopp has had to say.
