On Wednesday, Liverpool hosted Blackburn Rovers in a friendly at Anfield as they gear up to face Everton in the return of the Premier League.
The Reds enjoyed their first match in almost three months as they ran out winners over Blackburn in a 6-0 display. Jurgen Klopp fielded some youthful players, including Ki-Jana Hoever and Leighton Clarkson who both added their names to the scoresheet.

Takumi Minamino showed fans what he was made of with his first goal as well, but a lot of the focus was on Naby Keita.

The Guinean has been subject to a lot of criticism this season due to his inconsistent form and ongoing injury woes. He has had the fanbase divided as somewhat of a controversial figure.
However, Keita also bagged himself a goal against Rovers and loads of Reds supporters are going crazy. One supporter has tweeted the ‘league is not ready’ as they look towards the upcoming Merseyside derby.
