Plenty of Liverpool fans had their say on the performance of midfielder Naby Keita and were not impressed despite their 3-2 win against West Ham on Monday.
The Reds had to work hard for their win as Georginio Wijnaldum, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane helped the Merseyside club come from 2-1 down to collect all three points, edging one step closer to their first Premier League title for 30 years.
Keita, who arrived at Anfield for £48m from RB Leipzig in 2018, was picked out as one of the worst players for the hosts and was substituted for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain midway through the second half. Indeed, he failed to create any attacking opportunities, only made one successful dribble and was dribbled past twice in what was a forgettable evening for the Guinean, as per Sofascore.
Will Liverpool ever see the best of Naby Keita?
Unsurprisingly, supporters were disappointed with his showing and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that the club should cut their losses and sell Keita in the summer, while another described him as “very poor”.
Check out some of the best Twitter responses down below, where one fan said he was ‘very poor’ while another even believes it is time to ‘cut our losses’…
