Liverpool: Fans divided over the future of Harry Wilson following recent update

Liverpool have given an ultimatum regarding Harry Wilson’s future and it doesn’t involve another loan move.

According to Sky Sports (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom), the Merseyside outfit will either offload the Welshman permanently or integrate him into the senior squad.

Wilson has recently returned from a loan with Bournemouth straight off the back of two other previous temporary spells with Derby and Hull. Now 23-years-old, it seems Jurgen Klopp wants to make a definitive decision on the nature of his future.

Despite earning 17 caps for his country, the Wales international has appeared just once for Liverpool’s first team. Wilson came off the bench to complete a 25 minute cameo in the 2017 FA Cup third round replay against Plymouth (via Transfermarkt). He hasn’t represented the Reds at a senior level since.

It seems Liverpool fans are torn over whether it would be a good thing to see Wilson leave the club or not. One supporter has replied to the news saying ‘he’s gotta go’ in order to make room for new recruits, which would be ‘best for all of us’.

Exactly what you’d expect to hear. Think we heard the exact same last summer. We’ll try and get what we want for him, if not it’ll be another loan late in the window or a slight compromise on price. He wouldn’t start a game for us all season, would be a waste of everybody’s time.
