Many Liverpool fans exploded in delight after their side was linked with a move for Inter Milan midfielder Nicolo Barella.

After reports suggested (via Mirror) that Georginio Wijnaldum could be leaving once his contract expires at the end of the season, manager Jurgen Klopp could be making early moves to replace the Dutchman.
During his time in Milan, Barella has scored six times and provided 16 assists from 66 appearances (TransferMarkt), and having allegedly paid €50m (£45m) from Cagliari, they will be wanting to make a healthy profit.
