Liverpool have today announced that they will be playing two friendly matches over the next week, news which has whetted the appetite of many Reds fans.
The club confirmed on their official website and via @LFC on Twitter that, as part of the Reds’ pre-season training camp in Austria, they will take on Stuttgart on Saturday at 5pm BST before facing Red Bull Salzburg three days later, with kick-off at 3pm BST next Tuesday. Both games can be viewed live on LFCTV and LFCTV GO.

The latter fixture will be Liverpool’s third meeting against the Austrian champions in less than a year, having played against them in the Champions League group stage last season, with Takumi Minamino potentially facing the club from whom he joined the Merseysiders in January.
The Stuttgart game comes just 27 days after Jurgen Klopp’s men concluded their triumphant 2019/20 Premier League campaign with a 3-1 win at Newcastle as they continue preparations for the upcoming Community Shield against Arsenal ahead of the start of their title defence next month.
