It has been a fine start to the season for Liverpool, who have won all seven of their Premier League fixtures so far.

As a result, the Reds are top of the league and sit a massive eight points clear of second placed Manchester City. They have also managed to get their UEFA Champions League campaign off to a decent start by beating Red Bull Salzburg, and have won the UEFA Super Cup too.
What makes all of that even more impressive is the fact that they have achieved it all without their first-choice goalkeeper Alisson, who has been out since picking up an injury against Norwich City on the opening day.
Summer signing Adrian has filled in for the Brazilian, and it would be fair to say that he has been brilliant since coming into the team and has fitted in seamlessly.
As mentioned he has helped them to seven league wins, and has also managed to keep three clean sheets in that time (via Transfermarkt).
Alisson is a world-class goalkeeper, but the Reds haven’t really missed him which is testament to how well his replacement has played.
His teammate, Georginio Wijnaldum, has been singing his praises and told the official Liverpool website: “He’s done a really good job. If you see the kind of saves he makes, really important saves during the games. He also has a big influence on the results we had.”
