Liverpool: Fans hail Mohamed Salah for claiming new accolade

Many Liverpool fans reacted in awe of Mohamed Salah after he picked up the Premier League Goal of the Month award for January.

The 28-year-old picked up the accolade after scoring the Reds’ second goal during his side’s 3-1 win against West Ham United at the London Stadium.

The goal was picked out due to the brutal nature of Liverpool’s counter-attack, which was 12 seconds from defending in their own box to the Egyptian putting the ball in the back of the net.

Salah collected a first-time ball from Shaqiri on the left-hand side, to which he controlled brilliantly and dinked it over the shoulder of Lukasz Fabianski.

Unsurprisingly, this attracted an overwhelmingly positive reaction from the supporters who were quick to congratulate Salah for winning yet another individual award.
