Loads of Liverpool fans howled at Gary Neville’s reaction to the Reds’ 3-0 defeat to Watford on Saturday.
As a Manchester United legend, it’s safe to say that the former Red Devils No. 2 took great satisfaction out of their first defeat of the season, which was also their first loss in the Premier League for over a year. TalkSPORT shared on Twitter (via @talkSPORT) footage of Neville opening a bottle of champagne, mocking his former side’s rivals.
Jurgen Klopp’s side fell to a heavy defeat at Vicarage Road and found themselves outplayed by the Hornets. Goals from Troy Deeney and a brace from Ismaila Sarr did not dissuade the Reds’ title hopes but a defeat at this stage of the season was not in the script. With this in mind, supporters mocked Neville’s antics and made their feelings clear on social media.
