Liverpool: Fans go wild over footage of Kostas Tsimikas in red

Liverpool have completed the signing of Greek left-back Kostas Tsimikas from Olympiakos.

The Reds welcome their first addition of the summer to the club after agreeing terms with the 24-year-old. After highlighting the need to strengthen their options behind Andy Robertson, the club spent £11.7million on Tsimikas, who joins the Merseyside outfit on a five-year deal (via B BC Sport).

Jurgen Klopp’s first transfer window coup is the centre of attention as the official Liverpool Twitter account continues to provide fans with exclusive footage. A particular video of Tsimikas in his red kit has got loads of fans excited to see him in action.

One Kopite has lauded the defender, claiming he ‘looks like a beast’ sporting the new Nike gear. The Greece international contributed five assists and 13 clean sheets in 20 Super League 1 appearances this season (via Transfermarkt).
