Liverpool managed to retain their spot at the top of the Premier League table above Manchester City following their 3-1 win over Manchester United at Anfield yesterday.
A brace from substitute Xherdan Shaqiri sealed all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s men on the day after Jesse Lingard cancelled out Sadio Mane’s well-taken opener thanks to an Alisson mistake, and the Switzerland international will now be hoping to make a similar impact when his side take on Wolves this Friday.
With Wolves having won their last three games, though, which includes a victory at Molineux against Chelsea, Liverpool could be in for a difficult test.
As well as that, the visit of Arsenal at the end of the month may also prove to be a tricky fixture for the Reds. That being said, with the form the current Premier League leaders are in, they will fancy their chances against any outfit right now.
