Liverpool fans on Twitter have no time for Guardiola’s tricks

With what could quite possibly the game of the season just days away on Thursday at The Etihad, the build-up is understandably hotting up. Pep Guardiola has faced the media and claimed that he doesn’t know whether Kevin De Bruyne will be fit, something that the Reds are refusing to believe and are putting down as mind games.

Kevin De Bruyne is one of the finest footballers on this planet at the moment, and the Belgian will be a big miss for Manchester City if he is unavailable for the Liverpool clash on Thursday. However, considering he’s only managed six appearances this season, the Citizens will get on just fine without him, as they have done previously this season.

As far as Liverpool are concerned, though, whether City’s Belgian starts or not is completely irrelevant to them. The Kopites will be going into this game knowing that if they play to their maximum then it doesn’t matter who they’re up against. If Jurgen Klopp’s side can get going then De Bruyne or no De Bruyne, Manchester City are going to struggle.
