The celebrations of Liverpool’s Super Cup win over Chelsea on Wednesday, it seems, went overboard and now Jurgen Klopp has got another injury problem to worry about as a result of that.
Klopp says Adrian a doubt for Southampton with swollen ankle after being injured by a fan who ran on the pitch during Super Cup final celebrations

The Reds have already lost Alisson Becker to injury, with the Brazilian #1 set to miss ‘the next few weeks’ according to the Liverpool website. Now, though, it seems that the Reds are down to their third-choice goalkeeper as Adrian suffered a blow when a fan got overly involved in the on-pitch celebrations in Instanbul.
Although, Liverpool’s official Twitter account has since posted a Tweet that states that the goalkeeper is hopeful of starting at St Mary’s tomorrow.
Nevertheless, the fans, as you will see in the tweets included below, cannot believe their luck and are far from happy at the fact that it now looks like third-choice goalkeeper Andy Lonergan could be called upon for a game or two, starting with the Reds’ trip to Southampton.

You gotta be joking.

The Reds, as you can see, are far from happy with the news and will just hope that they can survive until one of Adrian or Alisson is back fit.
