So much went wrong for Liverpool yesterday. Jurgen Klopp’s side have now picked up just ten points out of their last possible 18 as they fell to yet another draw, this time against their Merseyside rivals Everton. In the draw, Klopp’s changes were woeful, and the fans all gave up when he brought Adam Lallana on for the last six minutes.

The fans were crying out for someone to come on and change the game with some creativity. Naby Keita has started to impress over his most recent performances and Xherdan Shaqiri is always a menace in his cameo appearances, however, when the game looked like it was crying out for someone with a touch of flair, the Reds went into meltdown as Lallana got stripped and ready to come on.
In Liverpool’s last 67 Premier League games, Lallana has started just four games. His consistent injury problems have derailed his career and whilst it’s sad to see a professional footballer suffering like the England midfielder has, the Reds weren’t prepared to offer him any support yesterday as they all knew he wasn’t the man who could change the game when they need him to, and he only went and proved them right in his short, uneventful cameo.
