Liverpool: Fans praise Roberto Firmino following Spurs victory

Lots of Liverpool fans heaped praise on their forward Roberto Firmino following their 1-0 win against Tottenham on Saturday evening.

The 28-year-old scored the only goal of the game to ensure that the Reds finished the day 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, ahead of the likes of Leicester City and Manchester City with a game in hand.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were certainly not at the best and most fluent but effectively got the job done thanks to the Brazilian’s efforts and some resolute defending in the second half.

Firmino continues to impress, as Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville drooled over his performance by suggesting that “any manager in the world would have him”.

As per Transfermarkt, he has nine goals in 30 appearances this season after scoring 16 goals in all competitions during the previous campaign.
