Liverpool have had their initial contact with Bayern Munich over Thiago Alcantara confirmed.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has declared that the Premier League champions are indeed finally in talks over their interest in the Bundesliga midfielder.

The idea of Liverpool signing Thiago is one that has been flirted with for many weeks now. Reds fans have been urging Fenway Sports Group to put their hands in their pockets and pay the sum for the playmaker. The latest report claims Bayern will not accept anything less than €30million (£26.9m) to sign off the Merseyside move.
Liverpool recently bid farewell to long-time servant Adam Lallana who joined Brighton on a free contract this summer. Jurgen Klopp and Co are eyeing up another option in the middle of the park in order to bolster their chances of holding onto their league title next season.
Fans are once again getting themselves excited over the idea of welcoming Thiago to Anfield. One supporter has tweeted ‘I beg it’s already done’ whilst another is urging the club to ‘release the funds’ to make the move happen.

When someone of his quality becomes available at that price it's a no brainer. Offers different things to our midfield, proven winner and should bring experience in which is absolutely vital in winning/retaining championships

Bring Thiago as Lallana’s replacement till Jones get matured, he (Thiago) can still play actively for the next 4-5 years by then Jones will be at his best
