Liverpool fans react to Abdoulaye Doucoure links

Abdoulaye Doucoure’s name has been commonly mentioned alongside the top six clubs in England in recent times.

The 25-year-old’s scintillating form at the heart of Watford’s midfield last season meant a potential move away from the London outfit was on the cards, with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool one side who have been continually linked with the former France youth international.

The Reds do have a plethora of current midfield options on the books in Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita, James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, so it would be tough for Doucoure to get a regular spot in the team. Nevertheless, the link has got a lot of Liverpool fans talking on Twitter.

Doucoure-the Henderson replacement: renewing his contract was a matter of increasing his market value. We can get 25-30 for him if we managed to finesse 15 for Ibe.
