Liverpool: Fans urge club to make a move for transfer target Gio Reyna

Liverpool are interested in bringing another midfielder to Merseyside this window and have set their sights on Giovanni Reyna.

According to Bild (relayed via @AnfieldEdition), the Reds are interested in the Dortmund man, who operates as an attacking midfielder.

Reyna tallied a total of nine goals and ten assists across all competitions last year, but only managed to contribute one goalscoring opportunity in the Bundesliga. However, he has already redeemed his quiet 2019/20 season this time round.

In his one league appearance for Dortmund this campaign, he has scored one goal and assisted another. He also bagged a goal in his DFB Pokal performance against MSV Duisburg (via Transfermarkt).

His fiery start to the new season has got loads of Liverpool fans impressed and they’re eager to see a move made for his services. No transfer fee has been clarified, but Reyna is currently valued at £13.5million.

One supporter has said ‘if we pull this off’ whilst another thinks it’s a ‘no brainer’ to sign the 17-year-old, with Harry Wilson linked to a move away from the club.
